“More Moments to Remember”
Like all of Mike’s programs, this features dozens of clips from the original hit records we grew up listening to. The focus here is on the 1950s and 60s in three segments:
- One Hit Wonders. Major hits from artists that only had this one big hit in their careers, along with pictures and interesting stories behind many of the recordings.
- Classic Country Crossovers. Country artists who had some of their big hits score big on both the country and the pop charts. Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Brenda Lee, Johnny Horton, Marty Robbins, etc.
- Golden Age of Folk Music. Major folk song hit recordings from artists including The Weavers, The Kingston Trio, and Peter, Paul & Mary.

"The Top 100 Countdown"
Using the Billboard pop charts (the music industry standard), Mike applied various analytics to come up with the 100 most popular records between the years 1955 and 1975. He then counts them down, from #100 to #1, playing clips from the original recording of each record, along with pictures and entertaining stories/comments.
You’ll recognize most, if not all, of these since every one was a blockbuster hit. Many of your favorites will probably be here. A fun way to reminisce with the music that became the soundtrack of our lives when we were growing up.
